Linux and Mac OSX platform compatibilityThe original MAME 0.134u4 still runs on FreeBSD, Linux, Mac OSX and Windows (even on Windows XP!). But the 0.37b5 version is port of MAME 0.134u4 for new platform. Linux users need a patched MAME 0.37b5 binary, and Mac OSX users need MAME 0.37b5 build for Lion.
