I had sent a Eurobricks Private Message (PM) to legolijntje, and he wrote back that one can download the ENTIRE SET of PDF Building Instructions for the Lego 8547 Mindstorms NXT 2.0 set in a 50.3-MB ZIP file: "You can just download it here: DOWNLOAD LINK TO DROPBOX SkyDrive. Please read the README file. I hope you'll like it

@DLuders and others, in the meantime (I sent you that file a long time ago ), I made a new zip file containing the program instructions too (as requested by some). You can download the complete zip file here.
I have the Mindstorms NXT 1 kit. It includes a printout of the first robot model building plans. The plans for several other robots (e.g. the scorpion bot) are included in the NXT software. However when I run the software, everything works, but it does not display the building instructions, only the programming instructions. Can I download those plans somewhere?
The graphical programming software version bundled is slightly different between 8527 and 8547, the 8547 comes with the NXT Mindstorms 2.0 software, which has several bug fixes to run more smoothly and a few nice features have been added. Since the NXT bricks are identical, the 2.0 software can be used with any kit with no issues. The software is available for download on the Mindstorms website here.
We will discuss how to set up your NXT with a Windows OS, using the bundled or downloaded Mindstorms NXT software package containing the USB driver and the graphical programming environment (NXT-G). Installation is pretty straightforward, requiring minimal user input in selecting the interface language and items to be installed. Once the installation procedure is complete, the NXT brick can be connected to the computer using a cable with an USB type B connector at the unit side. When turned on, the configuration should start automatically, and the device should appear in the Windows XP device manager as shown in the image below.
Lego Mindstorms NXT was a programmable robotics kit released by Lego in August 2006, replacing the first-generation Lego Mindstorms kit.[23]The kit consists of 577 pieces, including: 3 servo motors, 4 sensors (ultrasonic, sound, touch, and light), 7 connection cables, a USB interface cable, and the NXT Intelligent Brick. The Intelligent Brick is the "brain" of a Mindstorms machine. It lets the robot autonomously perform different operations. The kit also includes NXT-G, a graphical programming environment that enables the creation and downloading of programs to the NXT. The software also has instructions for 4 robots: Alpha-Rex (a humanoid), Tri-Bot (a car), Robo-Arm T-56 (a robotic arm), and Spike (a scorpion)
Makecode provides an online visual editor for programming the (typically wheeled) Lego EV3 robot [76]. JavaScript code is generated from the visual program, which can be downloaded to the computer to which the EV3 robot is connected. The environment also provides a simulator, and it can also be used for other robots, such as micro:bit.
TiViPE [61] is a research environment for programming robots that provides support to wrap any program code modules (e.g., functions) of the supported programming language as nodes in a graph, with edges representing control and data-flows. The environment incorporates the API for the humanoid robot NAO, as demonstrated by Lourens et al [63].
The built-in program is downloaded to the hub and run locally. There is also an option to stream the programs as well to save storage space I guess. It might also provide some kind of debugging capabilities but I couldn't see anything like breakpoints etc. At this point you are prompted to try different sounds and animations and basically explore how the programming works. My daughter spent about 20 mins trying all the different options before getting bored of it. 2b1af7f3a8
