Bounce is a plug in for Ableton Live featuring a set of lush acoustic instruments, from Pianos to Guitars, to Basses. It has an intuitive interface with a strong sound library, plus a nice visual display of the patch. There are a wealth of pre-configured presets as well. I just like how its sound is bright, punchy, and warm. I previously owned the Vogue Rhodes used in the demo. As you can imagine, it was junk, and I started using it less and less. But when I put Bounce on to my sample collection of VSTs it really sounded like real Rhodes. I then found that I couldn't install an entry level VST Rhodes because I didn't have the original instrument's sound and my sequencers couldn't generate it. I bought a Triton Pro Action Rhodes from VSTU for less than $100, found an old lesson in a cabinet dump and rebuilt the instrument from the ground up. The problem is that once I rebuild a Rhodes, its sound is different. When I built the original Triton Pro, it had a nice touch of brassiness and a positive response to the touch of the key. Now the Triton Pro has a nice touch of the brassiness, but it is negative - no touch at all. It's a very interesting dynamic. I'm looking forward to hearing what other "bounce" plugins do with a mutable instrument. d2c66b5586
