I tried using USB-C to usb-A female to Male cable converter to fix my wireless mouse cursor issue and it didn't work so I went on to look for other programs to see if they might be the same or not and came across the "Officially Supported Drivers for RealTone USB Audio Driver" tool and the described realtone drivers and the Rocksmith driver. I uninstalled the Microsoft mouse drivers thinking that maybe the interface would read my realtone cable driver instead of the Microsoft mouse drivers. I uninstalled the Microsoft mouse drivers, reinstalled them again but still nothing.
After that, I tried the keyboard but still nothing and I also tried it when I plug my original usb connection, both mouse and keyboard, into the port still no go. After I plugged the usb-C connector I get the "The RealTone sound card in this device is busy. Close other applications, other USB devices, or monitor this device and connect it again to make sure it is no longer used by another application" and clicking on Accept All Changes to Exit without closing the program. I've unplugged and replugged my connected usb-C device and I've rebooted my MacBook a few times in between.
Also, I see in the Rocksmith driver's dashboard when I plug in my USB-C device, it seems like the converter is being recognised but it doesnt state the VID (vendor ID) in the dashboard, so I thought to check with the VID in the converter and it is the same, but the USB-C registered VID is different, yet the converter seems to be the correct one.
Also, does using this interface bypass the rocksmith driver error / error 10 / hocksmith issue? In other words, when using this device what shows up in the device manager hopefully not the driver that hasnt been working for me. I'm assuming that it uses something totally different. d2c66b5586
